Night on the Town

Ghost peered around the wall at the robed alien while Jotun just stood up a bit to look over it. The alien was just standing in stiff silence, almost like it was basking in moonlight. They were lucky it decided to stay in this area. After seeing it turn one of their fellow soldiers into a bloody smear on the wall, Ghost had ordered an evacuation of the area. Unfortunately, other than said unfortunate soldier, only Ghost and Jotun were in any position to strike back until reinforcements arrived.

"Got any sticky bombs left?" Ghost asked the Sanghelli trooper.

"I have only one," he responded, "and my weapon is at 20% charge. How fares your weapon?"

"I've only got a few clips left, and I've seen that thing reflect small arms fire." There was a short silence before Jotun sighed.

"We sure could use a zoid right now."
